Information you provide. When you reserve a founding spot, we collect the name, email address, and ZIP code you enter in the reservation form. If you go on to become a member, we may collect additional details needed to set up and support the service in your home, such as a service address and contact information for the person being monitored.

Payment information. Your refundable deposit and any membership payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers on our own systems.

Information from in-home sensors. Once the service is installed, our sensors detect movement and daily-routine patterns (for example, sleep, meals, and general activity) to learn what is normal for the household. As described below, this does not include any camera images, video, or audio recordings.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we may collect basic technical and usage information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and which pages you view, to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

Quiet Care is built to protect the dignity of the people we monitor. Our sensors detect movement and changes in daily patterns — not images. We do not use cameras, and we do not capture, store, or transmit video or audio recordings of anyone in the home.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We share personal information only in these limited situations:

• Service providers who help us operate, such as our payment processor (Stripe), hosting providers, and analytics tools — limited to what they need to perform their work for us.
• Legal compliance, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Quiet Care, our members, or others.
• Business transfers, if Quiet Care is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information consistent with this policy.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at hello@quietcare.info. You can also cancel your reservation at any time before installation for a full refund of your deposit.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website and service are intended for adults arranging care for older adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the website or service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
